Parker-isms!

Parker and I were driving home from preschool and out of no where he tells me, "Mom, I wish I could marry you."
I said, "I know sweetie."
It's silent for a minute and then he says, "I'll never marry. I don't ever want to kiss a girl. Kissing is gross. But I'll always kiss you Mom."
Awe, sweet little boy. I love you Parker. He must tell me 20 plus times a day that he loves me and misses me. It's so funny because I'm with him all the time, but he is always saying that he misses me.

Parker rarely eats what I make for dinner and it's a battle nearly every night. (As I've mentioned in previous posts.) Tonight he wouldn't eat and cried and cried about it.
About an hour later he tells me, "I love you Mom. You're the bestest cooker."
I laughed.
He said, "I'm sorry but you are. You're too much good."

Parker: "Gracie, you're having a bad hair day."

Parker's (the Superhero) prayer:
"Thanks that we have weapons to defeat the bad guys."

I dropped Parker off at school and when I was helping him get out of the van he said to me, "Thanks Miss Blue Eyes!"

I had told Parker this one thing like 5 times today and by the 6th time he asked me I was pretty irritated. He could tell and so this is what he said, "I'm sorry, I just lost my mind."

Parker: "Mom, do you know how Spiderman gets his powers?"
Me: "No, how?"
Parker: "From the powers store."
Me: "Oh really? Where is that at?"
Parker: "I don't know. But it's white and it's where the superheroes go to get there powers. I don't know how they get them, but the guy there gives it to them."

Okay the weather here is officially crazy! When I took Gracie to school today the temperature in my van registered negative 10! The windchill was negative 24!

When Parker, Chase and I got back in the house after dropping Gracie off, Parker said to me, "Okay, I'm freezing! Can we not go out in that again?!"


Okay, I have it figured out whether or not Parker eats his lunch. If his plate is still on the counter then it means he's eaten all of his lunch. If his plate is in the sink or the garbage then he has NOT eaten his lunch (and is trying to hide it).

These are some words that Parker either uses regularly or has used in the past:

fling shot (sling shot)
tormado (tornado)
hangaber (hamburger)
confuses tomatoes and potatoes
cupcapes (cupcakes)
hot choco (hot cocoa / hot chocolate)
mudder (mother)
fodder (father)
booty (beauty)
engine turtle (ninja turtle)
frosting the snowman (frosty the snowman)
compooter (computer)
covety (comfy)
costune (costume)

One of the funniest things when Parker uses or has used these words is that Gracie will look at me and her and I just smile or giggle because she knows he totally got the word wrong, but it's Parker and it's just so cute how he says it.
